Dr Sharp's History of Bamburgh Castle
Among the archives of the Charity deposited at Woodhorn is a hand written account by Dr Sharp of the history of Bamburgh Castle.
The Trustees are grateful to Carol Griffiths, a volunteer at Woodhorn who has transcribed a large numbe of the Crewe papers, for making her transcript available to us for use on the site. It has been slightly amended with additional paragraph breaks etc to make it slightly easier to read in pront.
